Flash Evaporation / Crystallization
Vacuum salt production technology
In the technology called flash evaporation, the hot solution/liquid at the boiling point is given to a lower pressure environment, some of the solvent evaporates as flash and the solution/liquid cools. The resulting steam condenses in the condenser. If we consider the crystallization processes using this technology, the solution reaches supersaturation and some of the solute leaves the liquid phase and forms crystals with evaporation and cooling. The most important advantage of this technology is that since shell and tube type heat exchangers are not used, the problem of crust formation on the heat transfer surfaces is eliminated, so the process works for a long time without loss of capacity.

Advantages:
-
The need for live steam is less than other technologies.
-
It provides the opportunity to work for a long time without loss of capacity.
