Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR)
MVR Mechanical Vapor Recompression

It is an advantageous technology to be used in evaporator and crystallizer design if the electricity cost is low in the region where the facility will be established. The mechanically compressed steam is reused as the heat input of the heat exchanger.

Advantages:

  • The need for live steam is very low.

  • No need for cooling water.

  • Easy to operate.

  • Compact design as it is a single stage.
